My Favorite Showtunes

Broadway is back baby! If my work schedule wasn't insane for the next couple months I would be getting tickets to as many shows as I could (afford to) see. I love musicals. So, I decided to list every showtune I love to celebrate.

Some of these I've actually seen performed. Others are from the movies. And then there are those I've never seen but found through following Broadway.

Because there are a multitude of productions of some of these musicals, and a lot of been made into great movies, I'm going to get as specific as possible about the performances that I love because I'm a nerd.

(Yes I know it's a long list, there's been a lot of great show tunes. And I'm pretty sure I'm missing a bunch.)

Earworm: "Have Mercy" by Chloe

 I like this song. I don't love it, but I am definitely counting down to when here solo album comes out. I do love the second verse, though.

I Never Know the Date Anymore

 Apparently it's September now. 

I honestly don't I've truly known the date without checking my phone since I was in high school. Not even in college did I know the date. Sometimes I'm lucky if I remember the day of the week the amount of times I wake up thinking it's Thursday on a Wednesday.

It's even worse because I've literally been staring at a calendar and schedule every single day for all of August and it was still weird to see September pop up on my phone.

Maybe those "time is a construct" people have a point.
